CEO and founder
Knud offers strategic dialogue on the broader energy landscape and on shaping complex projects into practical, high-value solutions. As founder and CEO, he brings deep experience in biogas, CO₂ capture and integrated energy systems for industry and transport.
He knows how to align technology, infrastructure and commercial logic so solutions work in practice. Whether it’s building biogas plants, developing CO₂ capture or designing tailored electrical energy systems, Knud ensures projects are founded on the right terms for the energy system, the asset and the customer.

Insight: How Biomethane Certification Works
When biomethane is upgraded and injected into the gas grid, it is physically mixed with natural gas and transported through the same infrastructure.
To document its renewable origin, a Guarantee of Origin (GoO) is issued in a 1:1 ratio with the injected volume, including data on the used feedstock. The certificate can be traded separately from the physical gas.
This allows consumers to document biomethane consumption and its climate value, even though the gas in the grid is physically blended in the gas grid.
